That thumbnail makes Joe Rogan look more ragged than dear old Bernie, lol. Recent years must not have been kind...

Seen what the liver king looks like layely? Stacking will wreck you.

Love Bernie I don't think I can watch this. Rogan is like watching and hearing an actual turd speak. I can't make up my mind if he is just as stupid as he seems or is he just part of the big agenda that's being pushed by the worst people who have ever existed. Maybe it's a bit of both.

I've been wondering the same thing for some time now. There was a time I thought he was just a dude that maybe didn't know a little about a lot and was just trying his honest best to figure stuff out but it's getting pretty hard for me to have that same view over the years. There's just too many examples where he'll say things that have been clearly and repeatedly demonstrated to him to be false on air during his own show and he'll just keep repeating the same bull crap over and over. His guest lineup is kinda telling too lol.

I've barely watched him over the years but when I first listened to him I fell into the trap that he was just chill guy being cool with his guests. It definitely soured pretty quickly so I know what you mean.

I'll jump in the cage with Rogan. Problem is, he's never really fought in his entire career. He's a sham and weak. Why won't he get in the cage?

[–] charade_you_are@sh.itjust.works 3 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

He's talked about how awesome he is, don't forget about that. Be careful, he knows how talk about fighting

Agreed, but until youve actually done it, you don't really have experience. You can watch and train all you want in something like that, but nothing beats experience in hand to hand combat. Punching pads isn't the same as wrestling a gun or knife from someone who's willing to die to kill you, or thinks their life is on the line because you exist.

It's a different world, with different motivation and different experience. There's no tapping out when someone wants you dead. Jake Paul has more muscle than me, but I would never bet on him over me, ever, because of my force of will, and experience. It's really hard to explain the difference to someone who's never been in that position. Sometimes it's skill, sometimes it's luck, sometimes it's sheer force of will.

So, what you're saying is, don't fuck with P00ptart.

Got it.

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 2 points 9 hours ago

Oh there are plenty of people in the world who could beat my ass lol.

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago

I had the same feeling! I think he actually was back when he was kinda apolitical, back when he was openly a dem voter but largely refrained from really talking about politics

Now… Yea he is getting paid good!

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 10 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (2 children)

Its kinda like he has no place in his own show… Say when he has a really good guest on, like Neil deGrasse Tyson, he talks about what he thinks and how he feels… Why would I give a bloody fuck on what he, a non-physicist feel in opposition to a physicist about physics?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 7 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

Definitely both. These people know what they're doing and they're doing it because they're terrible people. And they're also stupid, which explains why they hate anyone with a brain so much.

Ignorant or complicit.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 14 hours ago

I'd say "¿Por que no los dos?", but then I'd get the browneye of ICEs snapping on my gamgee like a methed-up croc.

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

You don't actually have to hear him speak that much, it's mostly Sam Seder's reaction to it.

[–] charade_you_are@sh.itjust.works 2 points 20 hours ago

I watched the video but I actually wanted to watch the whole podcast because Bernie. That's what I was actually talking about and didn't properly explain. me bad

Rogan is just playing dumb so he can coast by and collect a wage. He knows who to pander to. He is a dishonest greedy nobody. Listening to a rock fart will improve your life a million times better than Rogan ever could in 100 lifetimes.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Zen says "What is the sound of one rock farting?"

[–] Zier@fedia.io 2 points 6 hours ago

If you've ever owned a Pet Rock you know.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 2 points 16 hours ago

Did anyone tell him that's gender affirming care?
