Hah, I just posted about this in the daily thread.

Best of luck to him (except when he plays against us). It's a big step-up, but he's an excellent coach.

It's bitter-sweet to see that we're not just developing players that are sought after but coaches and staff. The club atmosphere feels very different from the Arsenal of say 10 years ago.

We haven't had much silverware to show for it, but it's hard not to be proud of how far we've come.

No, I think Jack was the U18s coach, not the U21s coach.

Yeah, hopefully that stability keeps going. Ali really calmed things down after we went through two U21 managers in as many years before him.

Probably the bigger challenge is finding someone who has the same tactical philosophy as Arteta.

I wonder if we'll bring in an outsider or if we'll promote Adam Birchall up from U18s.

I doubt they wanna mess up the stability even more as much as I've heard good things about Birchall.
