The video released by DOJ, from inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center, begins at 7:30 p.m. on August 9, 2019 and ends at 6:40 a.m. on August 10. Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10 around 6:30 a.m. The missing minute from the video occurs on the night of August 9 where the tape seems to jump from 11:58:58 p.m. to 12:00:00 a.m.

The full video released by DOJ is almost 11 hours long, but we’ve clipped the missing portion below.

Many people on social media have questioned why the doors in the video are different from the photos aired in 2019 by 60 Minutes that show police tape covering Epstein’s cell. A door with a window is seen, whereas the visible doors in the video that was released by the DOJ don’t feature any windows.

It’s also notable that DOJ released two versions of the video. The first is apparently untouched, though you can’t make out Epstein in either. The second was altered slightly by the FBI. As the DOJ put it in a letter published online: “During this review, the FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability.” The two clips embedded above are from the unaltered video. The altered video is available on the DOJ website.

They claim there is no video of the cell, and what I saw does not show the cell, the cell is not in view.

Epstein didn't kill himself, he was murdered. He had no reason to kill himself before the trial, he'd gotten a light sentence before, he would have waited until the verdict before deciding to kill himself.

This isn’t even video of his cell. You can see the very edge of the stairs to the block his cell existed on, but at no point is that cell visible in the video. The missing minute is also not even worth discussing because that’s a typical rollover type of thing for some security systems.

Conservative conspiracy catnip. They'll spend all their energy theorizing and debating "the missing minute" while ignoring that none of the footage shows him or his cell. Same principle as people debating the existence of aliens over blurry footage while ignoring mountains of evidence of prototype weapons and surveillance systems. Or debating the personhood of fetuses while ignoring the rights and needs of living children and women.

Keeping the masses properly distracted requires a few layers of bullshit.

  • 6/7 cameras conveniently weren't recording due to hard disc failure, yet the one managed to save its recordings just fine.
  • There's 1 minute of video missing, though this is right at 11:59, rolling over to midnight. Not entirely unusual, but still suspect.
  • The recording camera can't see the entrance or fully see the stairs to the block of 8 cells Epstein was in, let alone see his individual cell door or inside it.
  • 2.5 hours after lockdown: the guard gets up, then there's a sliver of orange something visible moving up the stairs towards Epsteins cell block, then the guard returns to their seat. This is passed off as the guard bringing linens/clothes upstairs, but no further detail or explanation is given.
  • The guards admitted to falsifying records claiming they performed checks that they had not.

The gift that keeps on giving: people implicated by Epstein or the fallout to his murder are going to be delivering funny excuses, evasions and weak lies

This distraction from the concentration camps.

I think it's a distraction from the little girls who were murdered by the traitor's illegal weather service cuts.
