The motivation behind OpenAI’s founding stemmed from concerns about the rapid advancement of AI and its potential risks. Many of its founders believed that without careful oversight, AI could become a threat to humanity, particularly if controlled by a small number of powerful entities. OpenAI aimed to provide an alternative by making AI research more open and accessible.
I think they got lost on the way
Either you hate AI or you hate that it isn't free.
