Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Blames Hillary, Obama and Biden for the Epstein Files, which also don't exist.

I love that he's getting torched by his own.

no he doesn't.

[–] IWW4@lemmy.zip 1 points 6 days ago

No Trump is not.. his fans still adore him..

How much is this a revolt over the Epstein files and how much is it just a vent for the general dissatisfaction of the people? I imagine they're quite angry about a number of things by now, including that groceries didn't get cheaper, as trump promised would happen on "day one", so i guess this might just be a general way to vent.

metacognitive myopia even prevents people from updating their beliefs about the existence of WMDs.

[–] BoredGamer@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

Well at this point everyone wants to bury it & any mention of the real reason is pretty obvious to anyone in the know. He was an Intelligence Asset

I’ll take things I don’t give two fucks about for a thousand, Alex.

I'll believe that when I see it. Till then, all MAGAt morons are pro- pedofilia and they'll fall back into line once Faux News Entertainment tells them to.

[–] UncleJesus@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago

I honestly believe that they could release the files with his name still in them & the majority of his cult would still make excuses for him.

It's amazing how they are pro-pedophilia (due to their continued support and blindness towards all the real pedophiles around them) but screech about looking for pedophiles everywhere, or at least they were a few years ago! How can anyone trust these people when they support the thing they purport to loathe. When will this all blow up?

Add in the criminality of Trump and Co, and these guys are looking in all the wrong places!

It's the party of projection. Everything they talk about is solely because that's what they are doing/would do if given the opportunity.

Republicans have repeatedly tried to stop child marriage and mandatory reporting laws for decades now. It seems obvious at this point that the GOP is perfectly fine with kids getting raped as long as its one of their own doing the raping.

[–] andros_rex@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

Do you know any kids who have been married at age 12? I do. And guess what? They're still married.

Republican Mike Moon

And John Rose met his wife judging a 4H contest.

(Fun fact: you can’t file for divorce as a minor)

Also as a mandatory reporter in the state of Oklahoma… hahhahahahahahah. I just wrote an affidavit about how seriously CPS takes shit.

It’s the art of war 101, accuse your enemy of what your you yourself are already doing. In this case, it’s the rape of children, the president is a rapist, president rapist JFC

A trump supporter I know, always brings up politics, which I avoid when talking to them.

The past month or so, they have not brought it up at all. So, I think I’m starting to see it.

Oh I finally called my sister out for voting for him once my dad admitted he did and she went all in on the "well he didn't even need to win our state so my vote didn't matter." I said bitch you flew the flag which influenced others and bought his shit so it financed him, what you did mattered! So yeah I think she is feeling guilty so I made sure to make it worse.

“It’s not even about Pam Bondi to me. It’s like, look, Trump, we elected you because you were supposed to be different,” said Sharon Allen, a 24-year-old attendee. “So you have to prove to us you’re different….you can fire her [Bondi], do whatever, but at the end of the day, Trump, you are president. We trusted you to get rid of these people and expose these people.”

These dumbasses believe the lie of Trump so much that they’re shocked when he does exactly what the rest of us expected.

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 58 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Do they not realize Epstein was killed when Trump was president the first time?

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 week ago

I believe you know the answer to that already.

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I saw one where someone said something like "You're making yourself look like what the crazy left says about you!"

The reporter obviously doesn't know how maga cultists functions. There is no revolt against Trump, they are just waiting for the official Trump propaganda excuse, and in the meanwhile are left to their own moronic devices.

"If there was something in them, the Democrats would have released them, but even though there's nothing in them, I won't release them."

[–] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago

So it does exist.

[–] IhaveCrabs111@lemmy.world 30 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (3 children)

I’m shocked they have lasted more than 2 days. Usually they have eaten and digested the absolute shit that trump talks and are on their knees begging for more by now, usually so they can own the libs. This is the first glimmer of integrity I’ve seen from them. Very weird.

99% of them are sooner to literally get on their knees and offer their mouth than ever speak against him.

Trump supporters are what they are. They have no spine. They are cowards that fear everything but the things they understand and think they control. They are the dirt of the earth, meant to be tread on, elevated only by the worms that crawl from it and tell them fanciful stories of their pretensive grandeur.

Better to be dead with your dignity than alive and in support of this man. The people shall take turns defecating on his grave when he's gone... All of us, and all of those who call themselves his loyal followers.

There are none truly loyal to men such as this.

[–] echo 13 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Bullshit... this is all just distraction...
