Furry Memes - Exactly What It Sounds Like ;3

Want memes but you're a degenerate? You’ve come to the right place! Come laugh at cropped yiff memes and knot jokes with your fellow furries.

1 No Hate, Abuse, Toxicity or Harassment No harassment, extreme incivility, bullying, abuse, slurs, or anything like that. This includes discrimination against any group (including but not limited to race, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, etc).

Trolling and anti-furry content will be removed and result in a ban, obviously. Posts or comments that are likely to start drama/fights (such as a heated thread about a political issue) may also be removed or locked at mod discretion.

  1. Keep it relevant This is c/furrymemes, so please keep the posts meme or humour AND furry related. Anything that is wildly off-topic will be removed. The major exception is art, which is also welcome.

Simply captioning an image with impact font doesn't make it a meme if the caption isn't meant to be humorous.

3 Try to avoid reposts Try to avoid reposts from both here and other communities. We recommend using Karma Decay, TinEye, Google or Yandex to check for any reposts.

4 Censor personally identifying information It doesn't matter whose information it is, or what kind it is. From driving licenses to someone's username, please censor it before posting—even if that information is publicly visible.

The exceptions to this rule are watermarks; if an artist puts their signature or watermark on their work, don't crop it out. Give credit where credit is due!

Famous people are also exempt (if they have a Wikipedia article, they're usually okay). Still, don't encourage harassment or brigading though.

5 No chainposts, spam, advertising, or aggressive self-promotion No chainposts—e.g no posts that go 'Each time you repost X happens', or any similar types of spam.

Ads for T-shirts or merch are generally considered spam.

You may promote your YouTube channels/social media pages, but you can only promote them by sharing content from them (e.g you can't make a post that just says "follow me on YouTube"). Promotional content still has to follow the other rules. Basically, we allow self-promotion, but it can't be the main focus of a post.

6 No gore/extreme fetishes/shocking content This is a meme page, so extreme fetish content is likely to be unwelcome (it's not a moral judgement, it's just unappealing to most of our subscribers). Non-fetishistic posts that contain highly shocking or disturbing content will also be removed. If you are in doubt, contact the mods before posting

What qualifies as an "extreme" fetish or shocking content is up to moderator discretion. Examples include gore, screamer videos, etc.

  1. Mark NSFW posts appropriately We do allow NSFW posts, but please mark them properly. Unmarked NSFW posts will be tagged NSFW by mods the first time; repeatedly failing to tag properly or untagging posts may lead to a warning or temp ban.

Content that doesn't depict explicit nudity but otherwise contains kink or fetish material (such as a meme depicting vore or inflation) should also be tagged NSFW. If you are unsure about whether something should be tagged NSFW or not, tag it or message us; better safe than sorry.

  1. Follow Lemmy's sitewide rules Although not explicitly listed, all of Lemmy's sitewide rules apply to this subreddit. For example, even though it's not explicitly listed in the subreddit rules, you aren't allowed to upvote yourself multiple times with alt accounts. If the two conflict, sitewide rules take precedence over community rules.

(Note: promoting zoophilia/bestiality or other illegal activity is against Lemmy's rules and will catch you a ban)

  1. Be nice in the chats, and remember that community rules apply.

  2. AI-Generated Content AI-generated images are not allowed in this community.

Our goal is to support original creations and highlight the work of artists in the community.

also people will say stuff like this

"I have concluded multiplayer gaming isn't for adults anymore because I got my ass kicked by some kids who clearly have the time to master the exhausting metas that are constantly being wrenched around to get everyone to spend money on skins for new OP guns added this season that will be nerfed next season."

... and then refuse to try an indie multiplayer game like Easy Red 2, Angels Fall First or Operation Harsh Doorstop where people play competitively... but also are genuinely happy you joined the server to try the game as a noob and the idea of the game changing too fast for you to keep up with the meta must mean one of your favorite indie devs just had their dreams just come through and got a ton of funding out of nowhere.

I have plenty of indie games that I go and enjoy every now and then! The only real triple A games I play are GTA Online and the current CoD (thanks to game pass), and I don't care about most of the modern gripes people have with CoD since most of them seem to be skill issues. Other than the aim assist.

Still, those indie games are miles ahead. I just enjoy 6v6 respawn multiplayer way too much to drop it.
