We already have the flight logs, right? These people flew to the island, that should be enough for something. It's not like we're going to find a QuickBooks pricelist with clients and sex acts in it.

I mean... We might. Realistically we might just get a bank account with deposits. From whom and the description
I don't think this would have been a cash business, certainly not the kind that would have involved taking transactions into a bank account. There are lots of ways to hide money, and the mega-rich are well-versed in them.
That said, they'd also have to have been incredibly disciplined not to leave a digital trail anywhere. Flights, Appointments, there would have to have been spreadsheets and documents, unless they were ALL paper...
If I were gonna run an extremely illegal operation for the rich and powerful, you can be damn sure I’d be keeping receipts for blackmail / insurance.
Even if there is no list (anymore), it's funny so many self-repport in the assumption there is a list.
Should Stephen King get checked out for brain damage? Possible stroke? He's pulling a Fetterman with this shitty take.
When they're finally leaked it'll feel like christmas and birthday at once except with sinister undertones.
?!
I was pretty sure King was anti-trump AF. Where did this “list is fake” come from?
I guess he has something in common with Trump after all.
A this guy writes shitty books. There, I said it. Come fucking get me.
Go read some Brandon Sanderson novels, which are amazing.
King: The problem was an spooky demon all along.
Sanderson: The problem is solved by washing and cleaning EVEN when it sucks.
I've only read the first Mistborn book so far but Sanderson had absolutely no prose in his writing. I don't want to be too critical since that was one of his first books two decades ago, but it felt like I was reading something written by a high schooler. However, the actual story and plot were amazing. I'm definitely going to continue reading his books with the hope that he doesn't continue to write "Vin rolled her eyes" 300 more times. His magic system is really well thought out and the characters are very believable and likeable. King on the other hand, is kind of the exact opposite. His prose is top notch but he usually writes about fuck all. I'm currently on the final Dark Tower book and it's a slog to get through. I liked most of the previous books in the series so I'm determined to finish it, but you can tell he just makes shit up as he goes. I think King excels with his short stories, even the best Dark Tower book in my opinion is a sort of spin off from the rest. Like I said, I'll gladly keep reading through Sanderson's works for now but I really hope he learns to become engaging with his actual words on the paper.
Reading Sanderson is like reading an instruction manual. It is certainly words, and it sure has some information, but that's about where the experience ends. It doesn't exactly light up the imagination.
Dude can write an entire book and you come out of it unclear as to whether or not there are any trees in that world. Could have just as easily taken place on a slice of cheese.
I've only read the stormlight archive by sanderson, and fuuuck soes he write depressed characters so well it hurts.
The thing is you're kinda right. He writes shitty stories, but great characters. He's all about letting the characters evolve and explore the story to create the story.
The actual story? Not well thought out and riddled with inaccuracies.
This is why his books translate so well to the big and small screen.
But usually don't have satisfying conclusions
Yup, exactly. That's why his stories are generally pretty weak. He doesn't think about the outline or the ending at all.
He's said on multiple occasions that he mostly just has an idea for a story, writes some characters, and in the process of developing the characters, he develops the story.
So the story is a tertiary device in his writing, the characters are the primary.
Which is why it works well when adapted for use with actors on the screen. You connect with them more easily, and the story isn't generally as important in the beginning as a good cast and dialog.
See: The Stand.
Those grok replies are... something... That AI seems to be emulating Muskrat's personality, which is gross.
I really wanna go check because of morbid curiosity but touching the cesspit known as Twitter is like knowingly walking into a septic tank and coming out with the smell all over you
not believing in a secret convenient list that provides incriminating evidence on everyone you dont like instantly makes you a convicted pedophile
