It’s telling how quickly liberals leap to AOC’s defense while downplaying the atrocities she enables. They preach 'principled' human rights rhetoric, only to treat genocide as just another political bargaining chip. Moral bankruptcy has never been so transparent.

yesterday they killed 30 waiting for food. kids are eating sand there. this country is actively commiting an ongoing genocide. This week they bombed lebanon and syria who don't have iron dome and civilians died there. And guess why they kill civilians in every neighboring country and Iran and yemen and anywhere they want? Because AOC gave them half a $billion to keep doing so. And how do you even believe they will use this half billion for "defense" as if that was even an acceptable excuse, and not use it for salary rise and bonus for IOF soldiers who rape people to death and maim and starve kids to death?

Israel should be sanctioned. Wtf are you doing AOC? Aren't you not a millionare yet? you want to stay in your job earning $150k/year to do what? We are begging this spinless millionare for a vote? to get a word out? Is this your hero and next leader? Holyfuck your standards disgust me, and the message that this vandlism delivered was fully justified.

It's sick how in the US, you have to kiss the Zionist ring, to have any chance of power.

Everyone is so ready to drop her based on vibes so quickly that it kinda shines a light on why progressives fail. They could do a million things you agree with, but as soon as they do one thing you don't like they are immediately the devil. They are held up to such high standards that it's basically impossible to do everything right. I'm not saying her decision was correct or that her reasoning is correct. What I'm saying is that she is still one of the only politicians actively going against the encroaching fascism and oligarchy.

Like, I get it. Every single time I see Israel getting more money it pisses me off on a deep level. But I'm not going to hate someone for one of their decisions in a swimming pool of the exact opposite. Trump could shoot someone in broad daylight and be in the Epstein files and still have a base yet we hold our side up to such high expectations that we'd alienate them if they made a faux pas during an interview.

Maybe stop expecting everyone to be perfect and exactly what you want them to be and lower your fucking expectations a bit. She's still trying to fight for you while everyone else is doing exact the opposite.

Edit: Based upon the fact that most of y'all are saying that I'm defending genocide kinda proves my point. We should absolutely be angry at what's going on over there and we should never defend people that support genocide. But at the same time you should maybe direct your anger towards something productive instead of lashing out at people over the internet. Join a protest, advocate for ending support to Israel, and keep bringing up the issue and make it stay relevant. But don't think for a second that your anger will accomplish anything in a vacuum. This was literally one of her talking points 3 months ago and y'all have forgotten it in your anger. And maybe if you're expecting people to just "be better" you should probably be prepared to be disappointed every once in a while without feeling the need to attack people.
