If they could create even one functioning society, i'd be amazed. If it was that simple, it would already be done. Society overall is failing, alright, in the US, but i don't think it will be "easy" to create fully-functioning societies, be they parallel or mainstream.
If they really manage to build a fully-functioning society, i'd be amazed. Such a thing is in high demand nowadays.
