I'm not looking for price to performance I'm looking for endurance and from the research I've done it looks like ssd have more endurance that hard drives do u guys recommend a ssd for nas use 1 to 4 tb ssd's are what I'm looking for

Depends on the amount of data you are writing and the DWPD of an SSD. Also, take into the account parity if you're doing RAID: https://support.liveoptics.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000498588-Average-Daily-Writes

I go for nas-focussed HDDs - Ironwolves and so on. I'd only deploy SSDs if I was running virtual machines with lots of concurrent users.
