Thanks, we will have 3 girls in the house tonight (8-10). guess I know what they can watch
Parenting
A place to talk about parenting.
Be respectful of others' parenting decisions.
My eleven year old loves it, and it's decent in that way where it will take a good bit longer for the music to drive you nuts.
My kid calls it cake-pop demon hunters.
lol, my girlfriend and I started to watch it the other day but we had to stop after like 10 minutes because we were cringing too hard
Look at this person humble bragging about their girlfriend.
It's okay. She's a model. In Canada.
more likely an AI model
A Canadian ten is an American two tops.
I so hugely recommend this movie. I'd love to give spoilers, there's deeper intricate meaning to some of the things you see. Basically it's about learning to accept yourself for all that you are, in a world that expects you to be an unrealistic level of perfect, including hiding things you were born with and positions where you have to choose between money and spending time with family. There's beautiful cultural meaning to things displayed, I won't try to explain because I am not an expert in Korean culture and I'll butcher the explanations. It's multi layered, even after watching you can deep dive and learn more about the story and deeper meanings to the relationships within the show. On surface level it seems like a light and beautifully designed movie, but it has such deep felt heart, to it. The songs and music are seemingly simple, but if you have (or seek to learn after) they have deep technical roots and further the meaning of the movie. All around going to be one of my top favorite animated movies.
Good, it's an excellent movie
