Which would make flying much more expensive and that is actually great. Flying somewhere for a weekend is not something that should continue to be normalized.

I get that flying between countries in Europe is cheap, but for a weekend? Dang, I won't fly to another state unless it's for at least a week or if I have some reason to. Even just going 2 states south costs hundreds just for the flight.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe we could invest in actually functional railways instead.
I hate the american/english way of writing money numbers. Standardize, dammit!! Do you say "I have a W60 charger"?? No, right??? You say 60 W. It's literally the same for money!
