56 degrees? Are you looking to die?

[–] TabbsTheBat@pawb.social 36 points 1 month ago (2 children)

It's in the weird US units. That's 13°C for reasonable people

Either that or it's a climate change thing and it's just a few years too early.

[–] TabbsTheBat@pawb.social 10 points 1 month ago

I think you'll find that Farenheit was a German Pole

[–] TabbsTheBat@pawb.social 4 points 1 month ago

And I think you'll find germans no longer use that measurement system ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They said "crisp", but I think you need to go higher to get that real crunchiness

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago

I think we call those “chips” in freedom potatoes.

56 degrees with a sweater and standing in front of the oven would probably kill you, but hey Kaley whatever makes you feel alive.

[–] zero_spelled_with_an_ecks@programming.dev 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I still stand in front of the oven for a moment after taking stuff out of it when it's over $90°/€32° but I get popsicle toes at $76°/€24°.

[–] BootLoop@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Sorry what are those units?

[–] zero_spelled_with_an_ecks@programming.dev 9 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Oops, forgot the extra $ for $$_°, the double dollar degree. The other one is the more widely accepted Euro degree, though some prefer degrees sterling, £_°.

[–] BootLoop@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Is that supposed to be fahrenheit and celsius? Because my country uses $ and celsius so I'm getting confused.

Sorry, yes, you are correct. There's usually a stink made whenever fahrenheit is used so I was just being playful with that.

Why would she want a boiling hot day?

So Jesus' coffee doesn't get cold too quick.

You might not die immediately but you certainly will have that crispy flaking skin after. There's also a high chance for a fire with those candles as it must be really dry.

[–] Blackout@fedia.io 4 points 1 month ago

And what comes after those perfect fall days Kaley? It's not toyotathon I'll tell you that much.

[–] Drusas@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago

Why would you need fall-scented candles in the fall?
