That’s a shame for Portland, since I guess he’ll shut the team down like he did the entire AAF after purchasing the controlling interest in the league. I’ll never forget, and I’ll never forgive. Screw you Dundon!

The owner now has a professional team in the South East and one in the North West. Presumably, he will want both teams in the same city. Moving the Blazers moving to North Carolina or the Hurricanes to Oregon seems like a lot of effort. If he is going through that effort, might as well move both teams to the biggest media market he can. So, presumably Vegas is getting a basketball team and a second hockey team?

I don’t know enough about the owner to say what’s most likely but I don’t think the other owners would approve of a move to Las Vegas since I feel like that and Seattle are the most likely candidates for expansion.
