Sakamoto Days is a hilarious, over-the-top portrayal of a former hitman who retired to get married and have a kid. It reminds me quite a bit of SPY × FAMILY in focusing on the comedic life of a ridiculously, unfairly skilled protagonist fitting into society with a family.

I watched three or four episodes and dropped it, can't remember why though. I really enjoy spy X family so I was really hoping to like it too.
I've been watching building the band during meals. It's a reality show, so not all of it is great, but most of the contestants at least do seem to be trying to make music and not drama.
Hello,
Does it make sense to have this kind of posts here when there is a weekly similar thread on !television@piefed.social ?
Judging from the lack of engagement, maybe not.
I just happened to take over this community and thought I'd give it a try at reviving it, I don't know what I'm doing, never been a mod before. Most of the time I'm too afraid of talking to strangers to even makes posts.
Would you suggest redirecting or something to television? How would I go about it?
I agree with blaze TBH.
I mean a Netflix sub is cool, but it's also not really a 'fandom' that's too different from other services these days, IMO.
No worries!
I would suggest indeed consider locking down this community (you can probably ask @Lazycog@sopuli.xyz to do so), and add a post about redirecting to !television@piefed.social , the same way !television@lemmy.world does: https://lemmy.world/post/31113924
The community can always be unlocked later if we need to.
The Lemmy userbase isn't large enough to sustain niche communities, maybe later. For now, it makes more sense to regroup on more generalist ones.
