I'm the ad hoc tech guy at work....

Young co worker told me the internet wasn't working, and I asked if they knew if it was the Wi-Fi or not. (They have a docking laptop so used both wifi and a wired connection at times).

A specifically said Wi-Fi.

It turns out they don't have a clue what Wi-Fi is, as they pointed to the LAN cable.

(Although in her defense, the reason we no longer had internet access, was that our outside tech contractors had just ripped off a "disused" master socket)
