I cannot explain how pissed I’d be to be stuck next to a blank wall on a flight. We literally conquered the air and you’re not gonna let me see that shit? Get the fuck outta here.

Another annoying thing is when they cram even more seats into an airplane with a set window spacing (a spacing designed for less crammed-in seats) and you get the seat where the window is out of phase with your row. So you have an awkward window in front of you and an awkward window behind you. Both of which feel like they belong more to the rows in front and behind you, so you feel awkward changing the blinds, and can't even see out of them that well anyway.
