As someone from outside the USA, I will never get over how strange it is to have national-level parties involved all the way down to municipal mayor races

The problem with electronic voting is proprietary software.
A party investigation initiated after a complaint from Frey found that the malfunction resulted in 176 ballots in the first round of voting being uncounted, which denied the entry of a third candidate, DeWayne Davis, onto the second ballot.
I wanted to say something sarcastic but wow, that is fucking brazen. Let's hope the "vote blue no matter who" crowd gets the hint.
At this point democracy is already dead in USA anyway, so might aswell burn the whole fucking system down to the ground, and start from scratch.
True enough, but without strong labor organization today's elected officials and the like will be tomorrow's resistance/"resistance" leaders. There's still value in getting progressives elected into office and, by extension, something of value is being stolen when neoliberals sabotage those progressives.
True. The new leadership will have to be from proper labor unions, in order til build the cpuntry for the common people, instead of for the corporations.
No they won't, there's plenty of precedent to this. Look up what happened when India Walton won the Democratic primary for mayor of Buffalo.
This decision will be a stain on our party for years to come and damage our ability to organize for Democratic wins this year, next year, and beyond.
Of course it will. This is like, the Democrats whole thing.
DNC doing Trumps work for him
It's not your party. It belongs to the people who bought and paid for it.
