This one's definitely on my wanted list, but the base plate alone is worth like ยฃ100! (I'm thinking I might a 3D version out of an blue 8x16 base plate and some curved plates)

I just love those old style trees in these Forestmen's sets, I find them so much more evocative than the modern versions with round plates and dragon tail parts

Most of the Forestmen sets were exceptional, especially the first couple of years. They were on the tail end of the castle era when it was just about medieval feelings and not a fantasy mix. I loved it.

So, they only built "4" sets... These three are the first of them.

*I should clarify. Lego only built 4 sets in the first run of the forestmen wave. They built a few more sets in the later part of the forestmen sets.
