This is what I am aiming for, I am trying to eat more vegan overtime but it is very difficult I love meat, hate cooking/and am usually too tired to do a decent job of it, and tasty veggie options are often more expensive somehow I think for me I don't give a shit about the health benefits, I am not going to make it long enough for that to matter, rather it is that I know there won't be enough food made sustainability for everyone at a much more accelerated pace if we don't shift collectively towards plant based diets (on top of the animal cruelty concerns, which I recognize are the ultimate concern).
Lol who is still min maxing their body health at this point? I don't get it, it is like changing the oil on a car that is about to be sent into a scrap metal crusher.
Like, the OCEAN is dying to the degree that Blue Whales are falling silent in their whalesong, longterm body health seems like a frivolous pursuit in this context from my perspective.
I think it is a good thing to value health, but it feels more like a form of positive intimacy with your body and an expression of self care than any kind of ticket into a meaningfully different future given the current acceleration of climate change.
