I found this episode to be a bit slow, Dexter was out of his game :o
He is so good at getting out of sticky situations but also very good at getting into them x)
It was inevitable that they found him out with how little he tried to protect his identity.
Seems as though charlie did her work in the end)))

The thing with batista was a bit contrived as well, but I guess it worked out for Dexter.

Up to this point I found Prater's credulity with Red/Dexter to be stretching the limits of believeability for a supposedly smart guy. Glad that seems to be coming to an end. I feel like it would have made more sense if Prater was the skeptical one and Charley defensive about the work she did to vet Red.

Fully agree on the Prater and Dexter part.

I like that Batista is now seen as a "crazy" detective, even though he is 100% correct. It makes me hope that he sticks around for at least next season (although I expect that isn't likely). The NYC detectives asking him, "Oh so you SAW Dexter?" (Well no, not technically.) And the kill room being all set up. And Quinn saying he's a good guy but clearly off on his own adventure.

Man I really thought Batista was gonna shoot the landlord, but i guess that would have wrapped up his arc a bit too definitively.

Even if he's not the captain of the Miami police, at least he's still got the trigger discipline !

I'm also glad the landlord lived from a Harrison view point. He was ok that Dexter threatened to kill him (in his view), but he didn't want to be responsible for actually getting him killed.
