Until Congress recognizes these operations as highly dangerous workplaces and closes the agricultural industry’s labor law exemptions — and better funds OSHA — more tragedies like what took place in Colorado are inevitable.

Read a rolling stone article 20 odd years ago about the numerous deaths of people falling into the pig shit run off pits in Florida but a large number of them were those who went to rescue the initial person who fell in.
