I'm confused, why make revanced patches for an app whose developer is actively interacting with the community?

It's boost for reddit, which has been abandoned, not boost for lemmy, which is still active
It still works?
When updated/patched, yeah. It's still my favorite third-party Reddit client.
Same. Every once in a while, it won't load and I have a moment of panic, but so far, it's still going strong. The only issue I have is that I can't make single image posts because reddit doesn't use the same api that it did when boost stopped development.
Cool!
The sub was made inactive (can't create new posts) and the project was, as far as I know, entirely abandoned in favor of focusing on Boost for Lemmy instead.
