That doesn't sound very cyberpunk to me.

The cyberpunks are the "locals" you, the corporation, are fighting against. So this is something like a Dungeon Keeper where you play the monsters that are trying to kill the heroes.

I like the story concept and I like tower defense, so I'll likely buy this game.

Oppressing the local people (and stealing their resources for profit) is very cyberpunk
