For now... im sure the plan is to make it federal and spread it everywhere. I never even paid it any attention until I just got back from a vacation and forgot this existed. I refused to give my information and used a VPN, but I know VPNs are on their radar as well. I keep hoping this will not be the future of using the internet, but seeing how nothing good happens, I bet this will be a requirement everywhere in 10 more years, sadly.
