Beyond even that, they praise inviting people to negotiate and then murdering those negotiators.

"Womp womp" - Some republican, mocking the suffering of others on fox news

I think the above quote sums up the world's reaction pretty nicely

I pray for the safety of the Luigi's in our world. They gave us hope that we lost in politicians.

Words can be weapons as well. Not all who slay beasts do so with metal.

Usually both are necessary, and relying only on words and not on actual organizing and coherent force ends up costing far more human lives than just committing to revolution. Non-violence just means your enemies get to use violence on you unopposed.

Right on the money.

More money.

That last one almost makes it seem like non-political violence is OK?

Where are these liberals? I'm only seeing celebrations or "I don't condone but in this case I don't care either" for the fascist getting shot.

Or were you hearing them condemn gun violence for the school shooting that also occurred today?

I've seen a lot of posts condemning political violence. Newsom, Bernie, Harris, Waltz, AOC.

[–] Oni_eyes@sh.itjust.works 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I haven't seen any of them praising the assassination of Palestinians though.

Newsom, for one.

[–] dessalines@lemmy.ml 31 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Then there must be some mismatch between what actual liberal leaders are saying, and their followers.
