I was surprised the Riders lost to the Als last week! As a baseball fan, I feel kind of strange saying the Argos "walked off" the Elks last week, because you always play till the end of the clock in football (I think), but it was a thrilling last-minute victory nonetheless. I felt a little spoiled because I got to watch the Blue Jays and Argos both get walkoff wins within like 5 minutes of each other :P. I'm probably due for some Argos' pain now going forward

How are things looking in TO? Do we have a bona fide quarterback controversy brewing?

I'm really out of the loop, hence my delay (sorry), but I don't think there's so much a controversy as our #1 (Kelly) and #2 (Arbuckle) choices are injured, so we're going deeper into our roster.

Nice win for the Bombers over the RBs ;)

Yeah...Streveler managed to grind out a win, despite only attempting eight passes in the entire game (and completing three of them). The good news there is that Streveler seemed pretty focused on protecting the ball, and didn't try to force passing plays. A win is a win, but the Bombers need Collaros back ASAP if they're going to salvage the season.

Nic Demski's 84-game catching streak is now over, as well.

I hope you get Collaros back soon! If memory serves, Bombers take on the Ti-Cats next week. Tough opponent

Yeah, last week's outing against them ended...badly.

Lots of talk lately about the possibility of Winnipeg having a path to the playoffs by crossing over to the East. That would certainly be interesting.

That would be interesting! I know it's possible, but I haven't seen a conference cross-over to get into the playoffs (or whatever it's called) since I started watching CFL. Thankfully the Blue Jays are doing quite well that I won't mind if the Argos don't make the playoffs (it doesn't feel like their year either with all the QB injuries)
