Sure. These fucks are gearing up to declared all Democrats terrorists ... but laughter at their height I guess.

[–] RaoulDuke@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 hours ago

Peewee German.

I remember watching these ads on latenight TV in the 90s and wondering, what kind of losers buy this?

oh, that kind of loser.

[–] orbitz@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 hours ago

Who thinks that's an improvement? But I recall those commercials as well as everyone making fun of them. Now one of the biggest fascists in North America went on tv with that crap at one point.

And the President of the United States allows him to run so many things. Crazy. I'm not sure Mad magazine could have wrote something so bizarre.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 3 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Fuck Stephen Miller but as a short dude her comments pissed me off to be honest. That dude's taller than I am. Stick to his politics. Maybe short dudes wouldn't feel the need to compensate if we weren't getting shit on from all sides constantly. If we don't compensate we're ignored or ridiculed.

[–] petrol_sniff_king@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Nobody cares about his politics. Project 2025 has been out there for like 3 decades now, nobody gives a shit.

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 2 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

So denigrating short men is going to help? She's gonna win a lot of people over with that?

[–] petrol_sniff_king@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

I only said that no one cares about his politics. Do you have another suggestion?

[–] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I don't think that's a suggestion. How does this move the game forward?

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago) (1 children)

Stop being a doomer troll. We all hate him for his politics, there’s literally no reason to give a shit about him otherwise

I'm referring to the general public. The people that AOC would be speaking to. If his politics were enough to defeat him, then why is he currently the Deputy Chief of Staff?

It is not doomerism, by the way, to think about your chess moves.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 13 points 9 hours ago

I've said it often that the beat way to deal with them all is laugh when they speak. It affects them on a level that few can sense. They feed off your anger but laughter hurts them.

[–] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 38 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (2 children)

The best way to deal with bluster and narcissism is the grey rock method.

That won't work here because of FOX and the influencers will then be the only source for communication with the Trump administration.

The only thing that will work would be a general strike and Emperor's New Clothes moment of huge protests in multiple cities with millions taking part.

That is the only non-violent road forward. And the USA might be too big and too trapped in a digital maroon-ing to be able to coordinate that type of civil action.

Laugh all we can. I agree. But there needs to be a nation-wide coordination of civil disobedience on a scale unseen in the USA ever before. It is going to require getting over differences that the Trump administration will leverage to divide and conquer.

[–] Seleni@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

No. The best way is with humor (assuming you don’t have a gun handy). Fascists hate being laughed at. They want to believe they’re the baddest motherfuckers in the room, and cry like little toddlers the second they think they’re not. (Mel Brooks proved this time and again in WWII)

That’s why the ‘stop being weird’ thing worked so well. That’s why Commander Failure had a breakdown to rival a tired four-year-old in his office after the US generals didn’t leap up out of their seats applauding him.

Mock them. Belittle them. Laugh at them. Tell them they’re weird. It will get under their skin like nothing else.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 3 points 6 hours ago

So... Wait.

It's the exact way we deal with misbehaving children?

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 29 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

I'm upset about his height too. He's 6 feet taller than he should be.

[–] Flaqueman@sh.itjust.works 8 points 10 hours ago

I'd go as far as saying he's 12ft too heigh.... That would put him close to 6ft under

[–] Ferrous@lemmy.ml 16 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

Body shaming still isn't cool. For every short Nazi, there is a short comrade.

[–] Feyd@programming.dev 18 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Yup. People always come out of the woodwork defending body shaming bad people. Body shaming anybody perpetuates the ridiculous stigmas, and even if it makes bad people feel bad, it doesn't result in them changing their behavior.

I'm pretty sure it's just people that want to be assholes but have the wherewithal to understand they shouldn't looking for acceptable targets.

[–] paraphrand@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago)

Is this case he’s a healthy and very normal looking dude. He’s just min-maxed his personality and how he carries himself for immense goblin vibes.

I’m not defending the goblin, or the people noticing that adult goblins are 4 feet 10 inches tall, on average.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 6 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Like much of the Republican administration, he is a small man, referring to his personality, not his physical form.

[–] Ferrous@lemmy.ml 4 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

“Stephen Miller is a clown! I’ve never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he’s, like, 4 feet 10 inches. And he looks like he is angry about the fact that he’s 4 feet 10 inches. And he looks like he is so mad that he is 4 feet 10 inches, that he has taken that anger out on any other population possible,” the New York Rep. said.

Ah yes, definitely referring solely to his personality.

Just stop lying. Disingenuous.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 3 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I was, not AOC. You and I can take the high road all we like as outsiders, but AOC shouldn't since it hasn't worked for the Democrats for 15+ years.

[–] Zorque@lemmy.world 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Shockingly enough there's more roads than ignoring blatant corruption and resorting to petty name calling.

The former doesn't nothing, as we've seen. And the latter is generally used by shifty characters trying to distract from truly heinous activity happening behind the curtain.

Neither is particularly effective at actually accomplishing anything other than widening the already vast political divide in this country.

[–] krashmo@lemmy.world 0 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

They went low and you went so high that nobody else can even see you anymore.

Of course this shit works. Trump won almost exclusively because his voters love that he's a dick to people. Having higher standards than his voters is a good thing but that doesn't change the fact that the argument you're making here is categorically false. This is exactly the kind of language that resonates with the average idiot in America.

[–] Feyd@programming.dev 2 points 5 hours ago

Lol no. People have been calling Trump variations of orange man and making fun of his hands, how fat he is, and his shitty suit fit since before he was elected the first time. It clearly doesn't do Jack shit

[–] frustrated_phagocytosis@fedia.io 14 points 11 hours ago

Get groups of teen girls to roast him mercilessly. Being considered laughably unfuckable by the most "desirable" females is one of their triggers.

[–] RustyShackleford@lemmy.zip 3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Stephen Miller looks like the bastard son of Vladimir Putin.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 3 points 8 hours ago

great grandson of that EyeTalian feller....

People need to start making fun of this tiny bald bitch more

[–] angstylittlecatboy@reddthat.com 1 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago)

Um, no, this is not a political W. It's one of those things that is cathartic for some people but godawful for optics. Cheer this on if you want the left to look anti-male and hypocritical.

Kinda petty.
