Been watching capitalism fail my entire life.

So I'm pretty anti-capitalism. Lock me up.

I mean, I believe a heavily regulated form of capitalism can work and be beneficial to all, but America is nowhere near having that kind of capitalism. We're spiraling off in the total opposite direction.

He’s the most anti-capitalist ever to grace the White House. I’m certain I can prove it!

He’s the most anti-capitalist ever to soil the White House FTFY

I hope he dies publicly and his diaper overfills and explodes onto nearby Republicans.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 51 points 1 day ago (2 children)

My friend and I have been saying for years that we don't wish death upon him, we wish utter humiliation. We want him to trip and shit himself while he's walking on stage in full view of the cameras and audience.

On his death bed, he will believe he's dying with dignity. But if he rips his Depends on stage, he's gonna lose his mind.

[–] ZephyrXero@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

Oh god, if he somehow lost his voice and use of his hands, but was otherwise conscious that would be ideal. Suffering in silence like he caused for so many

[–] Mynameisallen@lemmy.zip 12 points 1 day ago

I want him to die humiliated and in a gallow

[–] WoodScientist@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Can we go for the good old fashioned lightning strike option? Nothing quite like an evil man being killed in a way indistinguishable from being smote by the wrath of an angry god.

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago

Far quicker than he deserves, but you are right about the flashiness of it

In all likelihood they'd promptly revere their spattered articles of clothing as holy relics.

Must've watched that rerun of minority report a couple weeks ago

The rest of us have classified djt as a pre- and current criminal.

[–] minorkeys@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago

You'll have to do more than that to not get iced in the future for the political opinions who've already expressed and are all recorded in data centers. When they decide what you've already been recorded expressing is a crime, they'll come for you too.

[–] Crozekiel@lemmy.zip 50 points 1 day ago (3 children)

What even is "Political Pre-Crime"??

[–] minorkeys@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago

It's an excuse to violently subjugate opposition.

[–] rustydrd@sh.itjust.works 61 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I think I read about it in a book once, where it was called "wrongthink".

[–] Frozengyro@lemmy.world 23 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is starting to sound double plus un good.

See that's not how you spell it in "wrongthink"

It's ++nogood

Because no is really un, they are pronounced identically and you didn't know that because you aren't as cool as Prez

[–] ZoteTheMighty@lemmy.zip 14 points 1 day ago

Pretty sure the term was invented in Minority Report as a legal gray area where it's in many way immoral to prevent crime by arresting people before they commit anything. It's literally a real life example of the Torment Nexus meme.

[–] RickyRigatoni@retrolemmy.com 41 points 1 day ago (2 children)

He looks like he aged another 10 years since he got elected. Being a hateful shit does that.

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 3 points 22 hours ago

Hate ages you however sadly it doesn't lead to an early death.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 20 points 1 day ago

Every president has aged prematurely. I guess being incredibly lazy doesn't change that.

[–] Marshezezz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 59 points 1 day ago (13 children)

Tax strike and contribute to the economy as little as you possibly can. Fuck this ghoul and fuck every piece of shit that voted for him.

If y’all think the Democrats will reverse this, remember that they classified anti-capitalism as extremism under Biden.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Know where I can find out more about that?

[–] surph_ninja@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It was part of his plan to address “domestic terrorism.” Also don’t forget, Kathy Hochul preceded Trump in sending in the national guard to “fight crime” despite every statistic showing a drop in violent crime.

We are not only at war with Trump and the GOP, but the entire political class.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Neither of those articles mention anti-capitalism.

[–] 3abas@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Try to do more than just cntrl+F.

As defined by the FBI and DHS, anarchist violent extremism encompasses the potentially unlawful use or threat of force or violence in furtherance of an anti-government or anti-authority violent extremist ideology that considers capitalism and centralized government to be unnecessary and oppressive.

Work backwards from that: if you're a leftist who considers capitalism to be oppressive, and you "threaten" to use your force (applying pressure, withholding labor, explicitly not violence as implied by "force or violence) to challenge government authority, congratulations, you're an anarchist violent criminal!

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

You know it tracks that Wray wouldn't be able to distinguish anti capitalism from anarchism. This is the dumbest fucking timeline.

[–] zeezee@slrpnk.net 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not true?

Straight from the Politico article:

The document includes just one mention of “anarchist violent extremists” — the term the FBI uses when describing terror threats from people who view “capitalism and centralized government to be unnecessary and oppressive,” according to a May 2021 threat assessment.

But in congressional hearings, FBI Director Christopher Wray — who Biden chose to keep in place, restoring a tradition Trump broke — has extensively discussed the bureau’s work investigating people in that category.

“Antifa is a real thing,” Wray added at that hearing. “It’s not a group or an organization, it’s a movement or an ideology, maybe one way of thinking of it, and we have quite a number — and I’ve said this consistently since my first time appearing before this committee — we have any number of properly predicated investigations into what we would describe as violent anarchist extremists. Some of those individuals self-identify with antifa.”

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago

I took that to mean anarchists, since they specifically call them "anarchist violent extremists" but I suppose that's an appropriately disingenuous take from the likes of Wray.

[–] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago

That means that he's libel whenever and wherever a capitalist can show that his policies harm profits.

"Pre-Crime"? This dumb mother fucker has watched Minority Report too many times. Try arresting someone for a future crime, the arrest is illegal and can legally be fought with force ... this means no resist charges and the like. IMO, no real police officer would try it ... that leaves "ice" to get smashed up.

Always has unofficially been just saying the quiet part out loud,
