For me it's the cat's expression. In cat, the flattened ears, squinting eyes, and open mouth read as extreme annoyance. The cat is already out of her element- seated at a dinner table with a salad in front of her. Now she has this angry, tearful, and unhinged white lady hurling insults and accusations at her? Nah, she's just had enough of this nonsense.
Lol exactly. It makes me crack up every time, I can almost hear their interaction (obviously never actually happened) in my head every time.
Idk why but this meme has always unsettled me. I think it’s the facial expression on the cat which I can never pin down. Is it sort of laughing as the article implies (“bemused”) or is it’s jaw agape because it’s at a loss for words? Or is it disgusted as the original cat meme seemed to imply (No like vegetals). This dissonance always drives me nuts and I have to read the text of the meme and try to guess which of these the author meant. I am hopeless but it drives me nuts sometimes haha.
I think the cat looks like Josh Brolin, which unsettles me.
It might be my favorite as well, and I don't tend to have favorites of anything.
What makes it so funny to me is the absurdity of reality TV drama aimed at a cat who has the best possible reaction in addition to having been served vegetables. It makes me smile or laugh every time I see it because the closer I look the funnier it gets.
The spin off memes where they are in different themes are fantastic as well.
Interesting, I always thought this was a scene from one show, which just featured a talking cat for whatever reason.
I also always believed this, until now.
Rare instance where I feel less old, thinking it was more like 2011
