They will.

They have no principles, no integrity and no honor. They're just craven, corrupt and conpromised tools of the oligarchs.

Future histories of the collapse of a the US will of course focus on Trump as the figurehead for those who destroyed the country from within, but probably not very far behind Trump, they're going to focus on the Roberts court and the loathsome scum who made it all possible by betraying the trust placed in them and violating the standards expected of them.

I honestly don’t think history will focus on Trump. He’s a figurehead, but it’s his puppet masters who have wreaked the most damage. Mitch McConnell, who spent years setting the banquet for his donors, should be considered one of the most destructive things to hit the US.
