Welcome to !reddit. This is a community for all news and discussions about Reddit.
The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:
Rules
Rule 1- No brigading.
**You may not encourage brigading any communities or subreddits in any way. **
YSKs are about self-improvement on how to do things.
Rule 2- No illegal or NSFW or gore content.
**No illegal or NSFW or gore content. **
Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.
Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.
Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Posts and comments which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.
Rule 6- Regarding META posts.
Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-Reddit posts using the [META] tag on your post title.
Rule 7- You can't harass or disturb other members.
If you vocally harass or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.
Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.
Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.
Let everyone have their own content.
Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here. This includes using AI responses and summaries.
I got permabanned from Reddit for asking the question as to how long will it be until an ICE agent gets shot.
That, According to the Reddit AI admins, was inciting violence, racism, and hate.
For just asking a question.
not saying i agree with the ban, but "just asking a question" doesn't mean shit. there are plenty of questions you could pose that could incite violence, racism, and hate
reminds me of the south park episode dances with smurfs
I got perma banned without a single word. Hadn't done anything other than maybe miss a few rules on a sub, but nothing which warrented a ban. Maybe a headsup that I forgot a rule. The level of dictatorship they run over there is pretty wild. Fairly certain it's just A.I/bots running wild, flagging for all the wrong reasons. The worst part is that they don't even read or answer the appeals. I literally sent 10 over the course of a year, because I had so much information stored for my health journey. Did they care? Nope.
They made a system that’s supposed to have ai flag stuff and people review it, then the humans used it as an excuse to be lazy and click through all of them.
i feel like its AI all the way top down. AI flag stuff, ai review it by looking for keywords, and AI issuing the ban, and the rejection of appeals in most cases. ive only seen it rarely when the admins UNBAN someone, on the shadowban sub. its very rare to get unbanned these days. usually shadowban were reserved the worst offendors, like repeat trolls,,,etc.
How were you top 1% commenter in only 2 months?
Something isn’t adding up
This is a ban by reddit, not a mod, right?
Correct
its reddit banning you. A SERIAL ban evaders, can get shadowban eventually, which mean they silence all your posts, so nobody can see it but you, so you wouldnt know yout ban. this form of ban is harder to get around.
Same here. Ive been banned twice for no reason and no answer from reddit
Not following. Sounds like you were both in agreement? Or was the post above that relevant?
First post floats like indecisison, a common tactic to take down known facts.
First comment absolutely was saying Trump was responsible even though he didn't go inside himself. Yet OP and others downvotes it and and upvoted the same sentiment in OP's comment.
Why OP was banned, I have no idea. There was no hate in the comment in the screenshot. I'm assuming it is the same comment in the link.
The story at the time was that Dump ordered his driver to take him to the Capitol, and the order was refused.
Damn, I guess this is what 21st century censorship looks like
Fuck Reddit I hope that shithole is destroyed soon.
Sometimes i'd like to report the reddit admins for "hate". One of the most abused rule they have.
