Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.

~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.

~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.

~ 3. Use spoiler tags. Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.

~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.

~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.

~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

Neelix is my boy, never understood the hate he got.

They’re stranded in the middle of nowhere, and this Talaxian, for the low cost of a room, cooks for them, tends to the children, advises the captain, oh yeah, and he knows the DQ. But he’s ugly so F him I guess. I dunno, Tuvok is who I wish I was on Voyager, Janeway is to I wanted to be with, but Neelix was who I was.

Yup, the older I get the more I appreciate Neelix.

Neelix is a great guy.

I believe silverware and napkins should be at the end of the line, not where you pick up the plate.

My wife disagrees but can't explain why she thinks I'm wrong. I at least have a logical reason (one less thing to deal with while putting food on the plate).

Honestly, having always had big family meals laid out with silverware and such at the start, and lots of inevitable return trips as people forget, I think you're onto something with this silverware at the end proposition.

(could also be alleviated by just having all that set up at the table beforehand but for some reason we've never done things that way)

I agree and have a perfectly logical reason.

Sometimes a meal does not require all the utensils. I might put together a plate that only needs a fork, or fork and knife, or fork and spoon. I feel dumb if I grab all three and only use one or two.

Also, having to try and maintain control of the plate, silverware and napkin all in one hand while you try to load the plate up is a pain in the ass. Why not go thru with hands free then get silverware at the end, where you can simply perch it on top of the now full plate?
