I picked Gale as my origin character on a whim (I wanted to get to playing without spending too much time in character creation. Also I like wizards), but he’s been a blast to play.
I've been just playing custom characters, I'm on like the 3rd 100% playthrough. How different is it to grab one of the characters? Do you get to be an asshole to everyone as la zael?
I wouldn't say it's significantly different, but it's different enough. Some of the choices are actually based around the characters, and you get character specific cutscenes.
