Level four of Strider (arcade) syncs perfectly with Inspection: Check One by Leftfield. I played this combo many times on MAME back in the day.

I don't listen to a lot of music, but I have found that there's a decent overlap between what works as an epic boss track in an RPG, and what works as a "Pursuit" theme in an Ace Attorney game (when you really start unraveling the witness's lies)
Bit of a weird one, but I was listening to Pick Up the Phone (by Dragonette) when I played Saya No Uta, and it oddly went really well together imo.
Fair warning: Saya No Uta is one of those "messed up" visual novels. It's very good imo, but not really something I'd feel comfortable recommending to anyone.
