My kid took me and the wife to a boldering centre for the first time this week, to try it out. Lots of fun, will go again with her quite soon I guess.
I used Health Sync to pull some of my fitness data from Google Fit to Fitbit and got it to display on my MagicMirror. I then forked the relevant module so that I can try to edit it myself and show more data from a spreadsheet.
The idea is to have a display that shows me my calorie goals, how many calories and water I've taken in, my steps, and my blood sugars among others.
I'm hoping that it will help me to stay on track with keeping my fitness and diabetes in control, and help me to learn JavaScript and Python while I'm doing it :)
Sweet. I've found that trying to make solutions to problems is always a great way to learn more about a programming language or to introduce yourself to a new one. I imagine you'll definitely learn a lot from this (alongside the more important achievement of making something you can use to maintain your health).

I myself have taken up two new things:
- This past weekend, I tried my hand at JavaScript. I ended up making a helpful userscript for Kbin, and I'm working on adding some features like settings.
- Since Geometry Dash 2.2 released, I've been playing around with the game's level editor. Currently working on my first level, and I'm pretty happy with how it's going so far.
Define lately.

I've spent quite a bit of time watching Godot tutorials now that Unity has shown they are a dead end. I'm much happier to support FOSS anyway.
Sounds fun. I've messed around with Godot a bit myself, though I unfortunately don't have the work ethic to make a full game out of it. Great to see more people using the FOSS option!
I have started a worldbuilding project.
Last summer I bought a mountain bike and have started cycling 3-7 times a week again including all intercity commutes. It's been over half a decade since I stopped daily cycling, a dear hobby of mine from teenage and early adult years.
