At least something to look forward to this year.

This research was funded by an unknown right wing think-tank. Interpret that as you will

I personally would prefer a 1066 battle of Hastings style wipeout where someone gets shot in the eye and then we throw the rest of them in the sea

And then someone makes a tapestry of it.

Without a tapestry about it, did it even happenβ€½

I mean, I don’t know about you but that’s how I learn history.

may they also catch fire

They have worked long and hard for it. May they reap what they have sown.

Jesus Christ people are still thinking of voting Rees Mogg in as their MP. They should just expand Chew Lake and flood the whole area - it has nothing to offer to humanity now

Interestingly enough it looks like the SNP has lost quite a lot of ground in Scotland. Can anyone explain why?

[–] Adubya@lemmy.world 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Allegations of fraud and exit of their top leadership. The person taking over backed a slate of unpopular candidates from what I recall briefly skimming it as an outsider.

Uh interesting, thanks for the explanation.

It's also exaggerated by FPTP.

This was the result of the 2019 election in Scotland.

A lot more seats proportional to votes.

So losing a small percentage they lose a lot of seats because they initially won so many by a small margin.

Even my constituency looks like it will be flipping! Nice.

Mine isn't even on the map. I won't be able to vote for any of the main parties anyway, but let's hope Alliance can oust the DUP.
