every year in late summer/early fall I get texts about preparing for rolling blackouts due to the heat and I have to start charging all my battery packs and stuff so when it goes out I can still use my phone. I bet if this happened in e.g. China or the DPRK there would be stories all over western media about how the commies can't even keep their lights on
