Something is wrong with this sites claims.
I have i99900k and a 1080ti, and it claims I will get max 48frames or something in dayz on high. I actually get 120-140 frames on high. It claims I should be on low settings to get those frames.

Probably cos they tested f*** all. Just throwing numbers around based on generations and manufacturers
I have a 5800X processor and 6700XT GPU which the site claims is barely ok. In reality my CPU is hardly ever doing anything when gaming while the GPU is at 100% usage all the time.
For a higher GPU, like the 7900XT (which i believe will have the power of a speculative 8800XT which i want to buy) the site claims the CPU to be the bottleneck.
Now i know that there is more to it than just the usage in the control center, but does this seem sketchy to someone else?
GPU is supposed to run at 100% though. If it drops it’s either not a graphically demanding game or you are cpu limited
Thanks for the link! Definitely helpful.
Pretty interesting results for me - I'm actually genuinely surprised that my CPU is my bottleneck, because I'd been assuming it was my GPU. That said, I have no bottlenecking at all if I run only one monitor, according to this calculator, but when I run the calculator for three monitors (my typical set-up, though I often run four because my drawing tablet has a screen), apparently my CPU doesn't have the power to keep up with the GPU.
The sites result are questionable. In games you are probably limited by your gpu. The best way to check this is to check the cpu and gpu utilisation.
Yeah, I think monitoring the actual utilisation on my PC is more useful than theoretical calculations. Games performance is pretty good (it's not like I'm playing demanding 2023 releases), but I've definitely got a bottleneck in there on digital art, 3D modelling, etc, and I'm not convinced that the CPU is the issue there.
I don't know if it's any good but I've been using this one:
Hah my xeon 1650 isn't even on there. Too old?
From video gaming to card games and stuff in between, if it's gaming you can probably discuss it here!
