I said on mastodon that the correct decisions is who the states put on the ballot is up to them. However states do not elective a president, they send electors. The electors will not be allowed to choose Trump when they meet. Ideally this comes with a reminder that no law or contract may bind who an elector votes for when they meet. This would give the electors a lot more power which I think is a good thing (and also the whole point of them in the first place).

The election might go to the house of representatives of course.

The SCotUS is now invalid & all future rulings by them should be ignored until they are cleaned out & replaced.

If the states ignored this ruling, SCotUS can't do a damn thing about it. We don't re-run elections.
