Probably better safe than sorry.
You're the most reasonable person here, I wish other lemmings were more like you.
I investigated that instance and am not seeing what you claim they are doing. Any chance you just stumbled across a rogue community there that has already been banned by their own admin team? The instance and communities there are pretty adamant about not posting any content that violates US law (which is pretty strict when it comes to the kind of content you describe).
Also, why is the knee jerk reaction to defederate when banning a single community is usually all it takes to solve the problem?
It's in the rules that they claim to allow such content on their server, I'm not going to dig looking for anime child pornography, if they allow it that's enough because it means that it'll be posted sooner or later.
Yet another troll account created exclusively to make this one post.
Can we get a filter to let users reject posts from any account with only one post?
Wow such hostility, that's what I get for trying to involve the community, won't make that mistake again, all reports go straight to admins DMs and none of you get a say in it.
Note: Irrelevant but you honestly sound just like the asshole who threatened to Doxx me over reporting him in his community for linking to Piracy communities here on lw.
You don't have to spend this much time getting them to defederate. This is lemmy.world. Just mention there are LGBTQIA+ communists, and it'll be defederated before you hit the post button (see Hexbear for more information).
(Obviously this is a legitimate defederation request and needs to be taken seriously).
If you're going to discuss hexbear at least properly inform yourself on why they've been de-federated instead of just pulling shit out of your ass.
To be clear they've been de-federated for their tendency to spam to communities, not because they're LGBTQ, FYI even blahaj.zone was going to defederate them until they defederated first.
