We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stop drinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!

So I’m back on day 1. I had 90 days running up to last Thursday. Oh well, time to start again. IWNDWYT

Midnight thirty. I'm about to get up and go to work. Happy Monday, all.

I had a good, sober week. I'm flying to South America on Friday for a long vacation. I was WRECKED last time I was in that land.

I'm connected with some people in Chile on Whatsapp from their central office. Hopefully meet up, even if there aren't any English meetings there.

I don't have to drink today. Pretty damn grateful for that.

I went to a concert on Saturday. The lead singer talked about being sober for the last seven years. After the show I made sure to tell him a lot of music, including his, has really helped me quit and stay off drinking. Seeing the care he put into the crowd wanting everyone to do well and there was a lot of compassion and love, it's special. This guy I don't know at all looked at me and said "We're doing this together a day at a time". It's really sticking with me. We don't have to know each other to be there for one another

That’s awesome! Is it a local band?

The Taxpayers. They originated nearish to me (I'm in Seattle right now, they started in Portland). They stopped touring together for a while though and different members moved to different areas so I'm really glad I got to see them

Happy Monday everyone! Been flighty lately, sorry about that! Didn't drink over Satuday/Sunday but was very distracted over the weekend with my pupper!

Acceptable reason. 😁

Happy April fools day y'all! I am so old I’ve run out of pranks to pull. (SIGH). Any wholesome last minute ideas? 😈🤣

Good morning, fellow sobernauts, IWNDWYT 😁!

No April Fool's jokes here, a friend once explained that as she is autistic she finds it confusing and distressing, so I decided not to add to her burden (plus I'm crap at thinking up ideas, so woohoo, got me off the hook there).
