I think they've reached the "If I can't have the world, no one can!" stage of things and are just trying to cause as much damage on their way out as possible.

Classic despotic propaganda. The US has never applied sanctions against food for any country.

This is like saying well my neighbor is starving my kids. How? Because my neighbors have made it so expensive for me to buy weapons to threaten them that we can't afford food any more.

Just absolute clownish nonsense.
