Pretty close match! I'd be fooled until I spot the tail. He is very sweet though a bit too playful and gets in trouble.
Ours is very much a menace. Steals our other cats food. Jumps on the counter. Hisses at people that aren't even touching him but expects pets and cuddles the instant he feels like it
He is pretty much all those things actually, he just doesn't hiss so i never get the menace vibe.

Oh my god thank you! Cant believe I forgot that. I was distinctly remembering the German accent and him being evil, so I was thinking some WW2 related movie
the actor is Werner herzog, better known as a director and generally insane art man.
So fucking cool Warner Herzog is officially Star Wars canon. I love that dramatic man.
both the best 'crazy art guy' currently living, and the best 'insane in extremely German ways' guy, plus the only public intellectual we have that isn't just like a hack shilling for billionaires.
I think it's from S1E7, they're about to learn this guy is small fry.
This episode also has the best star trooper dialogue ever, when they're waiting for clearance to enter the town, really funny stuff!
