The last call from the Thresher was reportedly garbled communications with the only audible phrase, "exceeding test depth", which was followed soon after by the sound of an implosion.
The audio from that is absolutely haunting to hear.
I went digging around online, but the only thing I came across was a reddit post indicating there are no recordings from the incident.
There is a recording of when the boat hit crush depth, but I guess it is not publicly available.
