My most played games are all shoters and I never touched a real gun

I however play league, thus I am a danger to myself and others.

I remember when i was around 15-16 in the playstation 2 times i think. I had a game that was called anarchy or something, i honestly don't remember, but still think about it from time to time. I didn't really know what to do in the game to progress, but it was a lot of gunning down random people in a mall. And i don't mean gta 5 style, just hordes of civilians. I played that a lot while blasting system of a down. For some reason i found it really relaxing. Never touched a gun, never wanted to touch a gun, never had the desire to shoot anyone.
BUT i can totally understand how entering that bedroom as a parent and seeing this, it looks pretty problematic

Same but I never would touch a gun.

You forgot to add “heavy music” in the scapegoat section

White cis het boys are famously the most bullied demographic

[–] ratz30@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago

White cis het boys can be absolutely ruthless to their own. That said the columbine kids were absolutely the bullies not the victims as they are frequently portrayed.

[–] balderdash9@lemmy.zip 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Is your claim that white straight kids don't get bullied or...? I mean, its not a competition

[–] Kiry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 years ago

If bullying caused school shooters there would be way more black/gay/trans doing it. But it's mostly white boys

[–] Franzia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

cis het white boys are taking a rapid demographic downward spiral. They're far more likely to be afflicted by loneliness, and far less likely to go to college. When clearly both of those opportunities are available to them, which I imagine internalizes that "failure."

Are trans homo white boys actually doing better?

[–] TheBurlapBandit@beehaw.org 3 points 2 years ago

Wouldn't that be true since there's more of them to be bullied, or are you talking per-capita?
