because the santion load is just going to increase and more countries will be included.

Not to mention more stupid shit, like not being able to visit the US if your wife is Russian, cuz.. you know, you might be a spy.

If they are just doing this because of a political fad and partaking "the current thing" then they are just voluntarily digging their own and the linux foundation's grave.

My 2 cents. Nobody is asking them to do anything... yet... and they probably never will, but... they're scared shitless and they would rather comply, even for things no one is asking of them yet and is dubious whether or not they're even covered by the sanctions, than show some backbone.

Yep, they gay... but who cares, right 🤷.

I have a male friend that has a best friend and they're "really close" and both of them are kinda gayish... but to this day (this has been going on for well over a decade now) they say they're just friends. No one's seen them kissing or anything, but they do share hotel rooms, beds, whatever. They even live in the same building (one of them moved to be closer to the other one).

Oh, and none of them has had a gf since they've met each other. I know my friend has had gfs before, but as to his friend, IDK, he says he has had gfs.

Just remembered another thing, my friend was really secretive when introducing his new "friend" to us... had no idea why he was like that at the time.

It's all good, I don't judge, they wanna play sharades, that's fine by me. I don't ask, they don't tell 🤷.

Winamp.

There's WACUP, but it's not the same and you can't run it natively on Linux.

I was waiting for my cosin the other day at a bus stop... he arrives, he's eating a burger. I asked how much he paid for it, he said $3. I just came back from a computer store and bought a 32GB flash drive. Guess how much that thing cost me... you guessed it, $3.

So, basically, a flash drive that I'm gonna use in the next 3 or 4 years is the same price as a burger that I'm gonna eat and shit out in the next few hours or so.

IDK about everyone else, but that seems whacked to me.

Is it weird that I don't use any of these streaming services and just use my own library via FTP (if I'm not at home)?

I though this was just a problem around here (I live in a 3rd world country... not exactly, but close to that). Shit, I mean, I can't afford simple things, like cheese or vegetables... they're so fucking expensive now 😔.

EDIT: A short story. I got together with my cousin the other day, he was eating a burger and I asked him how much he paid for it, he said $3. I told him that I just bought a flash drive for $3, 32GB and I will use it in the next 3 or 4 years, while he'll shit that burger in a few hours...

I mean... tech has gotten so cheap, while food is so expensive now. You could get a brand new 240GB SSD for the price of 2kg of cheese around here 🤨... that is just... weird if you ask me...
