The senior maintainers of arguably the most important FOSS project trying to operate secretively on something like this has shattered my trust in them, as well as many others.

Basically, my stand on this.

And that it was dismissed like it was "no big deal" by Linus and some of the other senior maintainers.

But seriously, Linus's comment regarding this was... just... I have no words... he basically put every Russian in the same basket, called them trolls and added a racist comment on top of that, I mean... yeah, I lost all respect for him. At least his previous fits were about code and only if someone fucked up something, this is completely different.

Yeah, that's about it. I've trown buggy code at it, tell it to check it, says it'll work just fine... scripts as well. You really can't trust anything that that thing outputs and it's more than 1 or 2 lines long (hello world examples excluded, they work just fine in most cases).

He's the angriest CEO you'll ever meet with close to 0 intellect... probably why he was removed from that position ages ago.

Kal-El... that was your real name... we thought Clark was cooler.

That's a good start. Also, include him in your own PC activities (some of them, make some up if you don't have anything that he can be involved in at the time), like "I need to find a cool new background, I was thinking this and this might be cool, could you help me find something online?". It gives kids a sense of being useful and wanted, plus a pat on the back, high 5 or something like that when the task is done. And it might inspire him to look for his own background, something he identifies with ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Have a lot smaller kid, he's 4, but this is just something from the top of my head... or how I would play it.

Cockroaches... as far as I'm aware, they don't contribute anything to the eco system, they're just pests.

Unfortunatelly, not even a nuclear war can erradicate them ๐Ÿ˜’.

Yeah, I catch myself sometimes doing "how old was I ๐Ÿค”"... I know that I'm above 35 and below 40, but was I 37, 38 or 39 ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜‚.
