It's the nature of things like this to be proportional to the demographics of the userbase.

There's a lot of pony stuff because there's a lot of pony fans here, they can only ever take up their proportion of the canvas anyway so long as other people keep placing pixels, it's about as fair a system as you can get, every demographic gets as large a proportion as they can manage with the number of people they have.

Will definitely do some planting to attract these, I think I'm somewhat out of luck for this year so am gonna have to get scent traps but hopefully plants will be established by next summer and attracting the right bugs to kill off the beetles

This is kind of why I am posting this, I figure thyme will not be enough on its own given how bad japanese beetles get, so am asking for other things I can plant to help control them passively meaning less work for me in the long run, having to constantly spray them is something I am looking to avoid if possible.

huh, apparently I can go there if I just type it in manually into the address bar, but not via the hyperlink in the lemmyverse instance list or other hyperlinks, weird. I guess solved though?

I can't even open the instance, that pops up when I go to the instance itself so I can't even get to the account creation to begin with
