Only once? I have been accused of being a Russian agent, a DPRK agent, a Chinese agent, and once a CIA agent for some reason.

Interestingly I hear the DPRK one the most. Maybe because I live in Asia, not sure. You can sometimes get away with saying something positive about China, but absolutely no positivity is ever allowed about the DPRK. I think I said I had a pretty good pizza there (I did) and people lost their shit.

I must be pulling quite the paycheque for all the world governments I work for.

How much longer until we hit the "They are all nazis and we knew it from the beginning, that is why we didn't send troops" phase of cope?

"Who could have known that Ukraine was so corrupt!? If only they were as brave and hardworking as us western Europeans, Russia would have surrendered already"

I do get some encouragement seeing things like this, or the students protesting who didn't back down even when their future careers were threatened.

The fact that they saw through the incredibly biased framing of the question especially.
"said they side with the terrorist group that just earlier this month purposefully targeted and slaughtered innocent civilians.". There's not even the hint of trying to be journalists anymore with them.

"the CIA assassins can't figure out why their attempts keep failing".

TIL that Castro was actually Superman in disguise. Suddenly everything makes sense.

They 100% would be making that argument during the time period(ignoring for a minute that the US still has slavery anyway). Heck, they still do, I grew up going to a school where our teachers seriously argued that the slaves were better off as slaves, with a much higher quality of life.

A few highlights I remember were them saying "slaves were usually never beaten because that would affect their ability to work" and "it gave structure to their life". Also "most slave owners were good people who were friends with their slaves".

They seem to be going with "He joined them AFTER they did those things, so it's totally cool". Like after literally burning people alive they just gave away milk and cookies for the rest of their military duty.

If you ever visit China, they have all kinds of programs where you can see them and even help out with volunteer work. Don't have to worry about if they are being well cared for either, they definitely are.

After the zoo that famously starved one of the Panda on loan from China, that makes sense. I still think it was intentional to take out their sinophobia on panda.

When "Russian disinformation" is just "information".

"I am sure you see how bad it looks if you report on the facts, so we ask you to instead help us push back against the truth with um...our own propaganda. But for a good cause!"

"Go back to your echo chamber!" -The liberal in the echo chamber yelling at people going out of their way to talk to people with differing opinions.

Yes, the US is purposely starving the world.

Unironically yes. While the US is particularly fond of bombs and drones, another favourite weapon of theirs is starving the countries of people who have the audacity to disagree with them. See: Cuba*, DPRK. As a bonus, they even get to blame the countries they are starving for the lack of food.

Not even only other countries, the US is happy to do it to their own people because the hungry are easier to exploit. The US has an absolute staggering amount of food waste, it is the largest component of most US landfills. They'd sooner throw away food before giving it to the needy. In many cases, they will punish you for giving it to the needy (see the charitable organizations repeatedly fined in Texas for feeding the homeless).

*Incidentally this exact same map can be used for countries voting to end the US sanctions of Cuba.
